Congrats! Did they ask for a copy of your passport stamps during the interview, I also included a copy of the stamps as part of the application.

No. They actually had the original application and all the documents I sent them. They just compare them to the originals. They also had the passport translations I included initially.

Just finished test.

It took me 3 min to finish . Got 20/20. Some questions was on history. Advise to read book at least twice . Did not got any questions like on online test.

Officer checked all original docs and did not asked for original ielts .

She told i will get invite for oath in 3/ 4 months ( standard ans).

This is very interesting, very different from what i had experienced in Calgary. I got a snail mail, which says that I must bring that mail with me to the test plus all the original documents that I have submitted along with my application. but i was not asked to fill the media release and prohibition forms that you mentioned. maybe there is some high-level officials visiting Edmonton on your test date and making some announcement there and they need some "new Canadians" in the press photo? Maybe you should add a daily facial massage into your test practice routine to get ready for the photo?

Lol, thank you for the beauty tip, I am located around 450 KM from Edmonton, so my test and oath is scheduled for the same day. My understanding is that the two forms are for the oath ceremony. About receiving Snail mails, My GCMS notes came in today and it says preferred method of communication is Email, so maybe thats why they never sent any snail mail. I received Email notification about the test on the 11th January.

@canadaedmonton I sent an email on Monday and received a phone call yesterday that i wont receive anything in the snail mail, he gave me the address of the test (room number at Canada place) and my seat number for the test. He told me thats all the information i need, and oath letter will be provided only after i pass test and interview. He mentioned that i will be required to fill 2 forms, prohibition form and media release form.

Maybe they might offer Oath on the same day if you pass test and they normally just give seat number for Oath ceremony good luck.

Questions given on online websites seems straight while i my exam questions was asked a bit tricky.

Advise to read question properly to pick correct answer.

So now I’m am going to read the book twice and do few tests online. My brain is too old
So we will meet there Monday and have lunch if we pass the test
