Doubt it. Scarborough is one of the slowest offices to schedule oath. Typical wait time after DM is 4-6 months for oath. You may get lucky due to cancellations, never know.

If it takes 4 to 6 months, its fine. I would be back to Canada by then and I can travel with my current passport. My problem would be if they call for Oath 5 or 10 days before my travel.. where I would become Canadian citizen and cannot travel with my current passport and will not have enough time to get the Canadian passport.

Well given how difficult it is to predict these dates, I would advise to refer to the spreadsheet for historical averages and make your decision. Personally, I have put all travel on hold till I get a Canadian passport, unless it's an emergency.

Alternatively, you could inform IRCC of your travel plans via the webform, and they can try to schedule you after your trip.

My application changed to IP on the CIC website on 18 Nov 2017
I live in Oakville, ON. So I suppose my office would be Hamilton
I didn't recieve any information neither by mail nor by email !!
Shall I contact the CIC to ask for any clarification??

I was IP November 16 and I got test invite just 2 days ago.
So it takes them almost two months before to invite me for a test interview

I did look at the sheet and tried to predict the dates but it varies a lot and I couldnt arrive at any clear conclusion.

I have test in the morning at 8:30 and ceremony in the afternoon at 12:30.
I have to pass the test of course

After decision made, how long does it take for them to call for Oath ceremony? My test is on Jan 31 in Scarborough and I have an international travel coming up in end of March. Thinking if I can get the citizenship by then and apply for passport (all within 2 months). please advise if I need to postpone my travel dates.

I did my test on November 29 DM on 30 still waiting for Oath from Scarborough it’s one of the slowest office.

Thanks for your input. I think it is case by case basis and I will have to wait and see what happens. I will go ahead and book my tickets as I cannot keep waiting and hope my travel and citizenship paths don't cross each other.

My E Cas status shows In Process as of Jan 9th, 2017. Just wondering, how will I receive an invitation for citizenship test?
I received my AOR via email, will this be via email as well or they send a regular mail.

Also, do they update ECas once they send the test request?

Test invite seems to be by email or canadapost depending on the office. For example, few Saskatoon applicants from October received test invite by email few days ago but no mention of that in ecas so far.
