be email, and next day i received a phone call from IRCC to confirm receiving the test invitation email
then i asked them if they will send me the same invitation by mail, they said no, not any more

Yes I took it today and I passed with 20/20. The exam was fairly easy . The interviewer went through the passport stamps with the calculator date I provided . I think they had the cbsa document as well .The officer said I should get the oath invitation in couple of months . The application still shows in process though .

glad to hear that! we are still showing on process! :/ we did have a few trips. but geez such a difference. now husband has to go to this work trip end of february and i am freaking out. if he doesnt do the trip, we can kiss goodbye to his promotion. but i dont know what we would do if it coincides with his test. i wish we were to get a test date. hey, any chance you asked the officers to hurry up while you are there? just kidding..

This morning I saw in my ecas this I was very surprised and I was wondering if the officer made a mistake. I didn’t get an interview test

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on September 29, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on November 8, 2017.
3. We started processing your application on November 16, 2017.
4. We sent you a notice on January 11, 2018 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on February 5, 2018 at 12:30 PM. The notice you will receive will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

I am from Edmonton CPC as well, i got the same, but if you notice, my test timings and oath timings are different, in the email asked for test at 8:30am, and on ECAS oath at 12:30pm, Are your timings different as well?

I just got an email test interview at 8:30.
But I live 300km away from Edmonton
May be we gonna do the test and the ceremony the same day
I know for sure someone who did the test and the ceremony the same day in Edmonton

I live around 450 kilometers from Edmonton as well, i think thats the reason. yay.!!!!!

Hi all,

Passed the test. Ecas shows decision made Jan 12th, 2017. However the officer said everything looks good on the 10th. So decision was probably made on the 10th.

Got email for test invite just now ( 12 Jan) and test date will be on 31 Jan at edmonton.

Does anyone advise me which original docs need to be with me ?

I do not have original IELTS result as it was submitted to them at the time of PR application. What to submit or carry on that side ?

Yes, my mother in law did got test invite on Jan 09 for interview (she is over 55) on Jan 29 by letter mail...but no update on her ECAS at all.
