Did anyone sent in a renewal for their PR card while waiting for updates on their citizenship application?

My card is expiring next year, and I haven't receive any updates after my file showed IP on ecas back in October.

My card is expiring next year, and I haven't receive any updates after my file showed IP on ecas back in October.

I applied for the PR card renewal at roughly the same time as my citizenship app. The PR card renewal was processed within the ~60 day service standard (I think this is now over 70 days per the website). Applied in August, and got the new card in October.

There was a brief period where both were "in process" on ECAS... oddly, the PR card app listed as "in process" for a couple of weeks after it was listed as mailed, and I actually had the card.

Then it disappeared from ECAS... my citizenship app is still "in process" with no progress since the FP request in early December.

Done my test today in Vancouver. I had many trips so officer said that she wants to get report from cbsa to double check everything and it's gonna take few days. For citizenship oath 2-5 months. Hopefully not more than 2.

ours is on the 10th in Vancouver. Congrats, hope the oath is scheduled before spring.

Hi Admin,

Just checked my ECAS and it says:

"We sent you a notice on December 20, 2017 to appear and write the citizenship test on February 2, 2018 at 8:33 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment."

I doubt that I will receive the actual notice in the mail until after the holidays now but at least things are moving in the right direction!

And just to confirm, I did not receive an email....it was just on ECAS.

Please could you update the spreadsheet?

They either send emails or mail. They sent us an email but nothing in the mail despite saying they will do so.
