Finally they started processing my application

I will call today and request them for urgent processing.
Thinking about reasons.

I don’t think its about thinking about reasons. Everybody can do so and start calling CIC asking for urgent processing. You are either eligible for such a process or not. Thank You

The question would be - why didn't you mark your application for urgent processing and then submit that at the time? Unless there is a clear and obvious reason then sure, give it a try but if you're just doing it because you want your citizenship quicker then chances are, it's not going to work.

My stats:
Application sent Sept 4
- requested new passport photo, returned application on Oct 4
AOR Nov 6
IP Nov 24

I'm confused about one thing, though: I am being processed as a Sept 2017 applicant, but my latest update from the govt said that my application would be processed according to the C-6 rules. Which is it? It doesn't really matter time-wise, as I qualify for both, but I'm getting conflicting information. Any one else in this situation?
if you had to resubmit your application after C-6 then your application will be processed as per C-6 rules.

it is exactly for finger print request as shown in my ecase. so try to do research now to find how and where to do fp.

Yes, as expected, it is a fingerprint request letter, which I will take care of later this week. Why they could not have sent it via email is beyond me.

A.

Pretty ridiculous right? Also it has been a while that anyone has gotten test letter too. :(

Hi guys, How do i find the spreadsheet? Here is my timeline:

File sent to Mississauga Office Sept 22
November 22 - In Process

Reposting my question:

This application is for my mother-in-law which falls in Seniors category. She doesn't need to appear in exam. Application is in-process since Nov 6th. Can anyone advise what would be the next steps for her. Will it be a interview and then Oath or something else?

Hello,

Received a letter today asking for FP . Went straight to an authorized office and did it electronically. Clerck said they would email CIC today informing that FP scan was performed.

Do you guys have any idea of how long this could delay our application?

Thanks and good luck to everyone (by the way, ecas doesn’t show FP request).

It won't delay the application. Basically, they run a name match. If someone with a similar name has a record, you get flagged. So you do the FP's so they can ensure it's not you. Once they have the results, it's smooth - unless you have a record :P

Hi Everyone

I have a question regarding the identification documents. We are supposed to submit the copies of two documents. These two documents are OK and will be considered as ID documents?

1- Drivers licence (photocopy of both sides)
2-Health card (photocopy of both sides)

Thanks

Haha! No records! Even a parking ticket! :) Thanks! Can’t wait to the Oath day! ❤️❤️
