This is usual. I received it. It is a Fingerprint Request most probably. You can do it very easily. There are instructions on the letter you will be receiving in few days.

normally FP request issued after the IP. How can be FP and IP on the same day?

its not a finger print request. They are asking to provide a proof of language which he already put in file but maybe the officer didn't see it or something.

you are right. it is not a FP it is a request for proof of language. He included his university degree but maybe the officer didnt see it. He graduated from University of New Brunswick.

not an FP it turned out to be request for proof of language.

I have been in Process since October 30th. Nothing since then. Hopefully test invite within the next 2 weeks!

Because that's what CIC does. They did the same thing when Express Entry PR came into force. All who applied a month before got screwed.

Just be glad this is the last time we have to deal with them. Can't wait to get this process done with.

Wish I could say the same thing. All Federal departments are messed up. CRA and Service Canada are worse if you ever came in contact with them.
