AOR is just a preliminary process.

In process comes from the local office. So I do not think this will have an affect on our applications as it is "first come first service" process. Plus the applications for october are still waiting for AOR so they are at Sydney and should have no real impact. That is just my assumption.

Hi Guyz, I got AOR on 23rd October. Can one of the Admin please update the excel sheet.

if we look previous months after AOR to '' IN PROCESS'' does not take so longer

Just received my AOR. I don’t think I am added to the tracking sheet yet despite sharing my information way back in September. However, wished to update all of you helpful individuals.

Application delivered: Sep 27
AOR Received: Oct 24

I’ll update everyone once the status changes to IP.

Thanks!

Location: Bramptom
Type: Single
Physical presence: not really sure. But I submitted the day I was eligible.

Anyone here know why do some applicants' take only 1 day from AOR to in process, but for others it can take 3-4 months or even longer?

Is this due to the amount of paperwork by the applicant(s), the person in charge of the files, the amount of time the applicants stay in Canada or the office in charge of the file, or just the amount of files IRCC is processing now due to government legislation?

Do all citizenship applications go to local offices after receiving the AOR? Do applications for minors follow the same procedures? Do they take the same amount of processing time? Do they require security clearance if they are under 12 years old and applying alone?
