Wise people. I know this may be a dumb question but I just want to confirm before I send my correspondence to the CDN embassy.

The notice says, "Please include your complete file number on your correspondence.." Is that our application # or UCI #?

You can order GCMS notes on your own too. No need to involve your lawyer.

Section A will be PA information.
Section B will be blank.
Section C will be sponsor's info.

It will change to approved after they receive your passport info and your COPR has been mailed to you

This was absolutely accurate, I received COPR the day after they changed the status on MyCIC to approved. Thank you for that.

I have since landed as of yesterday 03/30/2017 via a border crossing. Was a very easy process, they just verified that my address hasn't changed or that I had no additional dependents since processing and that was it. Filled out a B4 form stating that my vehicle was goods to follow once I had the title. Took maybe 20 min in all just because they seemed a bit rusty at the procedure.
