Application has been approved, waiting for my COPR documents

I have a couple of questions for once I land (planning in May/June time). On the September Spreadsheet it gives you the list of what you need with you, but I have a few questions.

1. With the PR Card Application (IMM 5444E) do you have to pay another fee for this application when you go to see an immigration officer? (I know silly question but just want to make sure).

2. If the officer asks for proof of funds, are bank statements from my wife's Canadian account acceptable? All my earnings are being transferred to her account before I fly over.

3. What's the best way to do the Goods Accompanying List? Is there an official form I need to complete before seeing the officer? I won't have goods to follow after I land in Canada, so am I right in guessing I don't need to do that form?

1. They handle getting your first card mailed to you. They confirmed the address I'm staying at and handled the rest of the paperwork for that.

2. I was not asked for proof of funds. I haven't heard of this generally being a thing with spousal sponsorship landings.

Application sent on Jan 24th

I received an email from them on March 1st, asking to fill up IMM 5562, to send the original copy of the police record(the arabic version), to renew his passport and send copy of 2 first pages and tp pay the permanent resident fee as well. i will send everything tmr.

So what does that mean ?? where are we at?? are they gonna request the passport soon for visa??
has anyone gone throgh this???

As of March 14th:

Application status: We received your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Review of eligibility: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results: You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents: Not applicable.
Interview: You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check: Your application is in progress. The next step is to conduct a background check.
Final decision: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Hi all

We applied through the HK visa office in September. The last update on CIC is Medical received but it was last updated back in December.

CIC sent me a letter a few weeks ago requesting for my birth certificate and HK police certificate. The weird thing is, I have been living in Canada since the age 18.

I've sent the birth certificate with a letter stating I have been in Canada since the age of 18 through the webform, but haven't heard back since. Should I still try to get a HK police certificate?

Hi Amy,

I am Preeti and my husband name is Stephen NDVO is silent since 1st march. They are working on June and July applicants and only 2 applicants form august got DM.

So I hope next week NDVO give lot of DM's for August applicants. I like to get early surprise looking at the NDVO trend look like I still have to wait

What visa office is your application at? Inland or Outland? That will help in answering your question.
