Hi rlcdeleña.
Yes, I do have 4 lines on the Sponsor side. It states as follows:

Sponsorship
1. We received your application to sponsor (Name of Principal Applicant) on September 22, 2016.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on October 20, 2016.
3. We started processing your application on October 19, 2016.
4. We sent you correspondence on October 28, 2016 about the decision on your application.

On the other hand,I only got 2 lines on the Principal Applicant side. It states as follows:

Permanent Residence
1. We received (Name of Principal Applicant's) application for permanent residence on September 22, 2016.
2. We started processing (Name of Principal Applicant's) application on November 2, 2016.

Just patiently waiting for new updates...

Hi Louman64,
Although if feels so bad, I guess the only thing we could do now is wait patiently since our applications are still within processing times.. I joined one of the New Manila Visa Office forum and there's a number of us still with no updates in the last 2 months. Let's just pray and hope for some good news pretty soon. In God's perfect time, it will come. :)

Any Accra Ghana applicants in the house? The wait is brutal! No one should experience this :( . Accra takes an average of 9/10 months to get back to applicants. I wish my VO was Ottawa too. Lol.

We are from Mexico City VO and also face a pretty long waiting time.. We are not expecting PPR until at least June or July, if not later! Hang in there ;)

I was just thinking about you the other day, and wondering how you guys were progressing. I hope things start to speed up. :)

Aww thanks!

Well we got a message a couple of days ago that our file was "in queue" for review at the Mexico City VO.. So they are not even looking at it yet :p

Hubby and I will probably "move" to Canada in May anyway since he already has his TRV. It will give us time to find an apartment and all that stuff before he gets PR, which hopefully will be in July ish.

Yeah. We're on tenterhooks now with the background check started. I thought once that started I'd feel better - and in many ways, I definitely do, because so many of the little things I was worried about (how they'd handle the fact that no father was listed on my daughter's birth certificate, whether they'd be satisfied with the Fieldprint FBI check letter since it originally came as a PDF, the fact I forgot to write in a few things on the IMM 5406 form, whether they'd be satisfied with the proof of relationship we provided) are completely irrelevant now. But I still manage to find things to worry about. :D

Congrats! Keep us updated!

Woohoo! Hubby received the email.

He is a US citizen and he has to photocopy his passport and supply two photos and send it off within 30 days. Hoping I read it correctly!

Hopefully that is good news and its an approval for his application! As I was sure we would be refused for a couple of reasons.

Congratulations! Thanks for the update. Very happy for you guys. If you can keep us informed of how long it takes the COPR to arrive, that would be awesome too. :)
