1. Up to how many backlogs are accepted under SPP. And how many under general category?

2. How much time in advance can I file for a study permit if I want to go for September 2016 intake.

as per as my knowledge you cannot have more than 8 backlogs throughout your studies and make sure you had cleared it on first attempt.

Safe to have less than 4 backlogs anyways.

If you have university offer letter and you have your finances ready.Bro just go on and apply for Visa the early the better.Embassy says you should apply atleaste 60-90 days before the deadline) > but I have seen people receiving their visa in less than 10 working days.

Looking at my own experience (and some others) we applied on Oct and no answer yet until today, 4th January. Some of us even missed our classes.

Calculate a bit longer just in case CIC takes a bit longer to process.
