I want to thank each individual member of the forum and specially those who are part of September thread.
My Citizenship journey came to an end. Today I had my citizenship test and now I am a proud Canadian.
There were no surprises on the day of Ceremony , everything went smooth.

I am proud Canadian after today. By the grace of God I attended oath ceremony at surrey office all went well.

All steps were completed in 1 hour 30 minutes.

Yesterday I had my Oath ceremony and I checked my ecas it shows we sent you a letter at February 15 to appear to take Oath on feb 22 2017.

For everyone this is an example that I have received oath letter on January 30

And they update my ecas on oath Day.


So my suggestions to all my friends please check your mail box regularly.

As I said in other post, nobody knows how IRCC works, there are not real trends that help to find out that.. I had my exam at the Canada Revenue Agency building (close to Guy-Favreau complex).. Probably you are getting your DM notice soon. Did the officer tell you how long will it take for you to receive the oath letter?

Thanks CobedMtl for your reply. Actually I received DM in 3 days after the test but now there is near 3 months and no oath letter. Officer said it would take about 2 months.

Thanks dkera. Please also update that my ecas was updated with oath invitation this morning. The oath date is February 23. Best of luck to all remaining applicants. Patience is the key here. It has been a roller coaster process for sure but it is worth waiting.

we have two "YASIN" in the spreadsheet..
this time line belong to Yasin from Ottawa...
please delete the updates of Yasin from calgary regarding DM and Oath Invitation....
you can see the YASIN update pn Page 95.. and confirm his timeline in the signature..coz that part of the sheet is protected..
so whosoever protect the sheet... update it..

I would like to thank everyone on this forum who has been there for all of us through this trying time. I am 100% sure that everyone will complete this process sooner or later and I will keep my fingers crossed for the remaining applicant that may their applications be finalized sooner. Below is my timeline for reference.

Interview date: Nov 9, 2016
Fingerprint request : Jan 12,2017
Fingerprint submitted: Jan 18, 2017
Decision Made: February 12, 2017
Oath invitation(ecas): February 12, 2017
Oath letter in the mail: February 15,2017
Oath date: February 23, 2017.
