I am having the same problems not being able to log on.

I am thinking the delay is because I changed from my maiden name to married name.

If that is the reason, I think we could be on the same boat. I enclose a legal name change certificate for my son. Have you also enclose a certificate?

No I didn't.
I was told I didn't need to because it is a hyphenated last name with my maiden and married name.
I had to send Government ID's showing the change in name.

Fingers crossed for us both.

To be frank, I don't think it make sense at all. If we were right about changing name caused delay, why they even don't start IP? At least they should start looking at our files then to decide if send us test invitation. never understand the workflow in that black box.

ECAS is not very accurate and doesn't update right away. it seems it lags the actual process
I received the test and till today it hasn't been updated.
so they might be processing your application in the mean time while ecas hasn't been update
Just some thoughts

It sucks. There has never been a sure way of processing with CIC.
I am in Winnipeg and this location is known to be very very slow so this could be a reason also. Where are u located?

I would just advise you to keep practicing for your test (as I am doing).
We might both get a surprise in the mail!

I am in GTA. Closest office should be Mississauga. But since many folks already got their IP or even test invitation within the same area, I have no idea where my files are and who is taking care of them. I am reading the book too. Thank you, Gussj and other members of this group for all the support and bear with my complaining.

okey guys out of 48 applicants... only 15 left which are sitting at AOR level.. mostly pass gone through this hurdle
hopefully by the end of this month this figure will come done to single digit..

Seems like GTA-CIC staff are still under Thanksgiving Recovery

you can check the spread sheet and update your info there to track others time line.
All depends on the area. usually 2-4 weeks
