September 2016 Citizenship Applicants

I have received my AOR by email this morning. below is my timeline.

Application delivered: Sept 19
AOR Received by email: Sept 28

For those of you who are concerned with the old citizenship form, I called CIC four days ago to clarify with them whether or not my application would be returned since I filled out the old form on Sept 14, and the agent I spoke with told me there should not be any problem because there is a 90 days transitional period and that proved to be correct today when I got the AOR.

Don't be worried. I think you will get it by Friday in my opinion. It sometimes depends on how straight forward an application is. Mine is really simple. I have never travelled to outside Canada since I came here and I think that might have something to do with the fact that I got the AOR pretty quickly. That said, I am not sure what makes an application being processed faster than others.

Fingers crossed though.
