i signed my application on 8th and get back my applications back with letter dated 16th for missing documents but they didnt ask for new forms filling... all the forms are stamped and dated 12th received on dated 12th...

I didn't call, but I know that the CIC web page was updated on September 9th and Also, I know two people that have the application back with only one comment "Refill application using new form" both have sined on September 10th.

This is why I asked. I would like clarify this point.

I called and the lady told me that I need to wait... If I get my application back is becaused I need to use the new form.

That's all.

My application was signed on September 05th and delivered on September 08th. I'm still waiting.

Hi Asker302,

After Submitting your application, basically you have to wait till you will recieve AOR from CIC, my brother applied before me he got his AOR in 18 days, soon you will get AOR it means they forward your application to the local citizenship office and after that you will be able to check your status. It all depends on the citizenship office and the office how quickly they will process the application.

Once they will forward your application to Local Office it will be IP (In Process) stage. Allow few days since you received AOR. then go to check application status website use your UCI mentioned on your AOR and keep checking.

Checked and I'm already IP (In Progress). Is there a way to know which local office I'm in? Is there a time difference between local offices?

Which province and city you are in?

does this mean that the application is deemed complete and it won't be returned due to "not complete"?

Many others are not updating it. It is difficult to see trends in random posts
