about 70% get Test Invite and Move On....
and bottom 30% still waiting for Test Invite.. Hope for the best

Hey guys,

After seen that Sherbo and Winsen status changed to decision made I called to CIC to know what happened with my file cause is still in process. The person whom I spoke with, told me that a decision was taken and it’s almost 100% sure that the oath will take a place in January. Now I can enjoy of this Christmas Holidays.

So, for Montreal people… I will fly out of country this holydays and maybe this is why they gave me this date. However, maybe you can have your oath sooner than me.

I don't think individual or family application will make a big difference. I sent my application one day before my Family (3 member). Our test date is the same.

and keep updating us

There is no specific time line, it all depends on the local office, Application type, documents ...etc. it is case by case bases, but in general based on the over all average process time, the whole process should take anywhere between 2-3 months under normal conditions. again some cases might take longer. also ecas is not reliable, some offices update each step others don't.
Hope this helps and clears some confusions.

I just got a call from CIC, they said physical presence days calculation given in the form is incorrect. He said we are giving you heads up in advance.

I'm not sure what going to happpen. Any advice? Shall i take my calculation sheet with me?
