I have a question regarding the Bridging open work permit (BOWP) for spouse and temporary resident permit for child
In the checklist, i found two items that i don't know what to do with..
1) Offer of Employment to a Foreign National Exempt from a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) IMM 5802 with proof of payment by the employer (receipt number). your employer should provide it to you.
2) A copy of Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) provided by the Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC), if applicable, and a copy of your Job letter from your prospective employer.
I am currently on Open work permit till Jul 2016, and I am working full time with a large Bank in Toronto. Do you know if these items are applicable in my case? if yes, then how to obtain them?
Please refer to the following page for spouse work permit
www cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/temp/work/opinion/policy.asp
For spouses or common‑law partners of provincial nominee class (PNC) applicants, the spouse or common‑law partner is eligible for an open work permit for the duration of the work permit held by the principal PNC applicant, irrespective of the skill level of the principal PNC applicant’s occupation
I called the cic helpdesk, they are not willing to help and told me that I need to file a paper application. So what i know so far is that i need to complete three applications (for myself, spouse, child) Child's resident permit should be simple, it is BOWP that i am struggling with.
I need your expert guidance, comments, questions..
