Hi fellow PR applicants,

I don't understand anymore the basis for the waiting time for the MR from the receipt of AOR...
Looking at the MR timelines posted by the seniors below ([1] just 20 days from AOR to MR; while the other [2] just waited 14 days from AOR to receive MR) makes me want to wish... ;D. 8). :o

The posts/thread conversations quoted below show a recent PR (November 2015) applicant who received MR (from the same local visa office-VO as mine) within just 14 days after AOR while some of us wait beyond 3 weeks (or worst, months' times more) for MR ... wooooh ? ... ???[/b]

Sorry for the late reply,

@tomasmrsfg
We had our AOR last Jan 18 and got an email from CEM last Feb 1 for MR and got medical forms the day after.

Hi YellowBucks,

Congratulations!
You got your MR within less than 2 weeks from receiving AOR email?
... That was fast ...
... Good luck to all of us ...

Thank you go north,

Yes, luckily we got MR exactly 14 days from AOR.
Hope all goes well for us, good luck and god bless!

If all of our AOR emails said that our PR application documents were considered complete, then why wouldn't we receive our MR at the same time lines? What's the reason for the delay, I wonder?

:-X. >:(. :-[. :'(

... Good luck really to all of us ...

Hi everyone!

I just want to know if someone here was advised by CIC / VO to send an updated bank certificate or financial statement?

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

Hello,
I have applied in SINP 2016 intake on January 4th.
After submitting my application, I noticed that the spellings of my name on my birth certificate were wrong. Now I have got it corrected from the issuing department. My question is how should I inform SINP that my document has been updated. Is there a way that I can update a document for a submitted application? Should I send email or just wait and see if they notice or ask about it?

We all know inland process are slower than outland process. (Look at some spreadsheets, inlanders are usually around 1 year while outlanders can get PPR as soon as 180 days from CIO)

But am I right to say that Inland apps usually get MR later in the process and Outland gets MR earlier?

I think its a blunder....its your birth certificate which is with you since birth.....call there agent right away he / she will guide you exactly what you have to do immediately....

hey how's applicants in this thread? any status update? Medical request?

No MR yet. I expect it would come only by May/June. But then we can expect RPRF, DM soon as they took long time for sending MR. May be I am wrong. Let's c

have few friends got their RPRF request first than MR, Their Medical comes a month later. so are we expecting to pay landing fee before Medical?

I read somewhere that Cic has increased intake of refugees. And most often pnp program get high backlogs. Usually MR comes within 3-4 months from AOR.
May be we have to pay RPRF ahead. No idea what Cic is doing.
Well, if Cic is clearing backlogs then we all can expect MR altogether.

Personally i feel it's bad that Inland applicants are not given any preferences on PR application process. At least we all are paying taxes for every single $.

Has anyone received notification about file transfer to Ottawa?
Once we do, will the "Application Status" change?

Sent application to CIO Sydney: Sept'15
Received AOR: Jan'16
Current application status: "In Progress"
