This is some bs. How do I not have my SA yet? We're a USA/Canadian by birth case - no kids, young and no medical issues, no representative, no police record, very easy, simple, straightforward case! & I guarantee I completed that application. In fact I over-completed it. So what gives...? This is so screwed

Is your application inland? If so you have another 15 months for SA.

I guess u havent gotten SA yet because You Over completed the application. hehehe. JK

If you're outland , yea- cause for worry , but if inland. dont expect it yet because inland takes longer.

Lol I'm definitely outland! I called a couple days ago and the lady just said she'll write a reminder for cic :/ lol... *sigh*

Yeah. I hate that. The officer has 3 months to answer any message from the agent so I suggest you submit a case specific inquiry which should be answered within 30 days.
Good luck.

Hi Guys,

I have a few things to clarify about this forum of outland spouse applications and its directly relevant to my situation.

By Outland Spousal Applications -- Do you mean Sponsor living in Canada and spouse living abroad ???

I am a PR currently staying in Bangalore after my marriage.

In my case I am a Federal Skilled Worker PR and my wife is a Russian and we are currently living in Bangalore.
We recently got married on 6 Sep 2015. We reached the marriage stage,
after one year of relationship which resulted in me traveling twice to Russia and my fiancee (then.. but is my wife now) visited India twice to meet me and my parents.

1) My query is Can I apply for her Spouse Dependent Visa while I am in Bangalore, OR should the sponsor(myself) be inland in Canada when the Spouse Visa is applied?

I came across a clause on CIC which states that a PR residing outside Canada cannot apply for the dependent Spouse Visa

Anyone here who has been in such a situation?

Appreciate your time here. :)

Thanks! Appreciate it.

Hey Bro/sis. We have the same issue. Submitted ours on Sept. 18 and received Sept. 25th according to Canada post but up until now no AOR/SA. Even calling cic almost everyday but they said that probably the officers are still working on it and no need to worry. Like wth. Our application was perfectly completed too and still havent received anything. I already submitted a case specific enquiry last week.

Sis. :D

Wow. I at least have AOR1 from Dec 5th, however I've heard of many cases where an AOR1 was never received, just the SA. And I remember asking a couple CIC reps about it, and they said AOR1 depends on the officer, some of them don't do it. I hate how inconsistent CIC is, and how they have little sense of communication.

But still no SA for me. :( What the hell? :( Why 1 month late? I bet they won't even explain the delay.

And lol, specific inquiry eh. Cause they respond so well. ;)

Hello friends, majority of aug applicants have got their decision made.. Now I guess its our turn .. Gud luck to us :D

New to this site but have been following it a while :)
Just wanted to share my husbands and my timeline
Application received sept 2
Sponsorship approval nov 4
In process nov 6
Decision made dec 19

Same three lines though on ecas. Nothing new added except it says decision made

They did not ask for any other info than what I originally sent. My app was complete. Been together ten years with child etc.
just curious as to why this was so fast....?
