I m a September 21 applicant ( sponsor).

ECAS ( using my old client ID from year 2000) says

Sponsorship application

1. Received ABC's application on Sept 21
2. Started processing on November 9th.

PR Application

1. Received app on Sept 21
2. Medical results have been received

Its now 70 days, no email or postal confirmation as of today.

I m getting worried, maybe they have found something missing in my package and are sending it back.

Same here. Mine was received Sept 18th.

If i have gotten SA since Nov. 9 and file has been tranfered ( even PA has changed to in process with a third line) , But on E-cas, Sponsored side still says In Process.. I think since we have gotten SA, Sponsor side should change to Decision Made... but not yet.

So am asking, is this normal? I mean , is it just taking cic solong to update , or i should b worried??

I wouldn't be concerned if I were you. You've got your SA and the file has been transferred.
The important thing has happened. A database not being updated in a timely fashion isn't important.

Hey evereyone,

I saw these days a lot of people getting sponsorship approval Congrats everyone
and for those who still haven't just been patient. If you have passed the 64 days call CIC, and keep calling, every agent will give you a different answer. If you find a nice one, he will tell you what's going on with your application


Tolexmi, I got SA a month ago, and still shows in progress for the sponsor. I doubt if they will change it. But you will know that your application is being processed when you will see at applicant's side 'we started processing your application the...'.

i received AOR2 today with my own uci number, iwas under the impression that if my partner was a PR, iwas only going to get just the app file no. and use his uci. well iguess iwas wrong.

yesterday i notified them about our baby and that they should communicate via email. then today i receive AOR2? iwonder if it is a coincidence.

I submitted one on November 13 about the SA, so far I haven't got an answer. But ECAS gave me answer already. That probably an reason they didn't reply me. i guess!

i used the case specific enquiry form for my visa office, online. there after i received an automated respond on my email.
itake it you might already know about the enquiry form, from the last post you sent?

i included my email on the form and also clicked on the checkbox, for the consent.

Guys! Help me here.

My spouse and have a kid , whose name was on the application - hes already Canadian citizen coz we got him a passport after delivery- but his name is on the application , just cos we need to put it there as our son.

And now we are having another kid, who also will b canadian straight up, so d question is , do i need to inform cic of d new baby , or not since it wont affect the application in any way ???? do i have to inform??
