Thanks everyone! It definitely has us speechless - it took all of 3.5 months since the application actually arrived in Ottawa!

Vienna usually takes an average of 6 months, but there have been a few applicants that have been on hold for almost a year. Their average processing time was listed as 16 months (before they changed to unified processing times online).

I truly hope everyone's applications are being processed quickly and that all of the spouses can get here sooner rather than later

Ah my apologies, I meant to say Mississauga, not Ottawa But our visa office is Vienna!

My husband got the PPR via email on January 7th Thankfully for our nerves and such, the interview got completely waived, there were no requests for additional documents, etc.

He just mailed his passport in through the embassy in Belgrade, so he should be receiving the COPR within the next week or so (via Vienna office)! ;D

Congrats ElaBella! I am from the November team and going through the Vienna office as well. Its great to see they process so quickly.

Finally, I've just sent out the application by courier today (15 Jan). Should reach Mississauga by Monday 18 Jan due to weekend. *fingers crossed* ;D

Just a quick question - In what order does one put the India Information guide and document checklist?

We are all pretty quiet these days. I checked the August thread and it seems that a lot of people are getting approved so our turn is coming around I can't wait

I also found this really good thread below for OHIP (health coverage) for those who are intending to move to Ontario or if you are already here. It seems like if we are already here we can get a coverage before the PR.... If you wanna have a look

I sure hope we get some good news soon. Our app has been in the VO since december 16th. I see some people already got COPR. I hope we can all receive the same good news.

What VO is everyone's file gone to? anyone from september received any news yet? I keep checking everyday, anxiety has definitely reached its max!

We are just here waiting patiently. The last visa was issued by my VO on Dec 23rd. Nothing since then. No PPR no DM. Hopefully they wake up and get busy with mass update.

Word - keep smiling. Early August apps are getting attention and there are movements, so my guess is - we should b getting movements too by Feb.

Not all visa offices send AOR 2. My visa office is Ottawa as well, and Ottawa doesn't send AOR2. But you can tell that they have received your application, when your sponsored person application on ecas showed 'We received ur application this date and we started processing....' something like that I don't remember the exact words don't worry your application is at your VO.

Hi Liiaa,

My VO is Ottawa my application is there since November 19th according to ecas but nothing has changed since then.... Some VO are faster than others. It seems that Vienna process applications very fast. We just need to be patient and positive anything sooner than the 18months of processing time they announced on CIC website will be perfect Which VO are you?
