I got SA!!!!!!!!!

OK as you guys can read! Just this morning my husband was told no one has look at our application and it would be some time. Then we get SA a few hours later?????

I have found this forum to be quite useful when it comes to getting a feel of how things go with CIC since they are so non-responsive lol
I submitted my application for sponsorship for my wife in September and waiting for the SA. I am a PR and she's british currently here on a visitor status. When I called CIC last week, they mentioned that they received my application on September 15 and that they haven't looked at it. I am using my existing UCI (that appears on the PR Card as well - assuming that it doesn't change) and log into E-CAS and I still can't see anything. What is confusing is the ever changing data on the Processing Times; just checked this AM, and it is back to a 15-Oct update showing that they are processing application received on 02-Sep (43 days) which is different than what I saw last night (22-OCt update - working on applications received on 08-Sep - 44 days). From what I'm reading, earlier this week, people whose applications were received on 10-Sep started to receive their SA's.

Any 15-Sep applicant that received their SA?

I saw that too! Changing back and forth. So strange! Our app was received on the last day of September and it is too early for SA, but mid September applicants should be getting theirs this week.

Is anyone in charge of spreadsheet or should we add ourselves?

Hi Everyone ! I called CIC this morning and found out that they started opening October 01, 2014 application. I hope soon we all have to hear good news.

Please keep in mind that average processing times are at least 55-60 days (per actual results based on forum spreadsheets). The current actual August average time is 52 days now. If all the remaining applicants in August get SA tomorrow, the average will be 62 days! Some are faster (i.e., Commonwealth countries, USA), and others a little slower. Keep your fingers crossed and best of luck for quick approval!

Our September spreadsheet has 7 SAs so far with an average SA waiting period of 47 days. You can check that under the second tab of the spread sheet called "summary" - at the bottom.

Sept 10 applicants were expecting to hear something last week and we didn't start hearing anything until this week. They might be slowing down a bit. I hope you hear something really soon!

Got the SA this Morning...

Here is how it went for me.... called CIC at 8:30 AM and spoke to a kind agent; he went and checked and said that CIC sent me
an AOR on 27-Oct; I don't recall seeing anything whatsoever and e-mails from CIC are hard to miss! so I verify the e-mail address
on file and it was indeed the correct one. While I have him on the phone, I check the Spam folder as he suggested to do that

I dig through my inbox and find nothing... he tells me that the AOR cannot be re-sent; he then confirms that the processing on
my file has not begun and that they are working on applications recieved on 08-Sep-14; he suggested that I wait one or two weeks
to hear something.... I was very disappointed but what can you do right? then boom, 45 minutes later I was reluctantly refreshing my inbox
on my phone and I see an e-mail from CIC... and there was the SA!

Morale of the story... hang in there! Your SA will come; just call them a day or two past current processing times, be cordial and
hopefully, you will hear from them shortly after.. I have seen this happening to many ppl on this forum; they call, get told another story and
receive the SA hours after! Now on to the next step (more waiting), and best of luck to everyone else waiting for their SA... you shall all get them soon!
