Got SA today and I am the Sept. 15th applicant. I was calling CIC for the last 3 days continuously and only before 3 days I was told that my application was with them and until then they never confirmed that they received the application. Somehow I got SA today.

status shows in process since oct 10

that's not a fool proof method. We called 3 times last week and still nothing. I think it's coincidence /good timing when that happens.

I have a question for those of you who got AOR. I am an October outland applicant. I got AOR by mail (didn't give provide email in application) 2 days ago.

My AOR sounds like an AOR for inland applicant.

It said "This confirms that your application for Permanent Residence under the Spouse or common-law partner in Canada class has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2014/10/14.

You will receive further correspondence once your application is under review by an agent. Passports for yourself and your family members must be valid for the duration of your stay in Canada."

I have a strong feeling that my outland application is being considered inland. So I'd appreciate it if you could let me know if your AOR is similar or different from mine.

I have a question about ECAS.

I am the applicant.

I received sponsor approval last Friday (October 31st 2014). On Monday November 3rd I was able to access ECAS using my UCI number and using my wife's. My wife's says Decision Made for the sponsorship and Application Received for Permanent Residence. Mine says Application Received for Permanent Residence.

However I checked today and I am unable to log in with my wife's details. I have not forgotten her date of birth, country of birth etc so I am unsure why this is happening.

I can still log in as usual but wondering if this means anything?
