I read it on this forum that - some applicants in Montreal , Alberta can see the transfer to local office on their ecas.

These days most of the eCAS status get updated when your file is being transferred to your local office and in most of the cases with the name of local office. But I am not sure if that is only in the case of Email-AOR recipients.
Lot of email AOR recipients had to wait for 6 months to even get access to eCAS. You should not be worried. I think you will get test sometime in Feb.

Was that because of the system change? My ecas was updated in a day or two

Yes due to some glitch. Check my signature with dates. All I wanted to say that Sep/October applicants should not worry that much. CIC is working on applications and the system is changed so have some patience.
Though I am being impatient these days when I see most of my friends have the oath letter and I am still waiting for test. :)

My data from eCas dissapeared today. Can't access my eCas anymore.
Anyone else has that issue?
Any ideas?

Don't worry it will appear in few days. Why don't you put details in your signature so someone can advice you better.
You can see my signature and others too.

Time and again it has been said in this forum that ECAS is not dependable. Please do not rely on ECAS as they are still working on it to fix. As a result updates are being done very late on it(depending on the agent) & also the service is sometimes interrupted sporadically.

It could happen that your oath is done & ECAS still says "in process"(ie. 3 lines only) especially for email AOR ones.
