But can you please elaborate why you think you received RQ?

Apreciate your input on my case, where I have sent my citizenship documents on sept 26 2014 and they were received on sept 29 2014, but till now I did not receive any confirmation email or mail. I have called CIC and they advised me to wait one month and if still I did not receive any reply then I have to re submit the application.

You are not alone, some Sept applicants have received test invites already and we haven't even received AOR -- you, me and at least one other person I keep in touch are on the same boat. I'm waiting till the end of January and if I don't hear anything I'll be submitting a new application with a cover letter mentioning the first application.

I have also sent my application on sep 25 and received on 26. I just got my AOR email today morning. So wait a bit more see what comes up.

I still have not received any AOR or rejection for my application. The application was received by CIC on Sep 8 as appeared from Canada Post tracking. This is frustrating.

I had my friend to pay for my application with a note saying that this application fee was paid for me. Only on the receipt the my friend's address was given to match up with his credit card information but rest of the information in receipt i.e. client id & DOB and else where was given for me. Did you do that? I am just wondering if that is what is delaying the application.

I visited my native country thrice, maybe that's what triggered it.

I don't think that should be a problem. Just be patient. Wait till end of Jan - if you don't get AOR by then - you should consider submitting a new application.

In the mean time you can consider, submitting a ATIP request to get the notes on your file.

Yes, I was on the same boat up until earlier this week. I was planning to do the same thing.

Stick to your plan and be patient. You can also request information on your file via ATIP act.
