Hi,

just received our email AOR today. However, when I check our status online, there is still no record.

App sent: Sept 23 2014
App received by CIC: Sept 26 2014
Email AOR: Jan 6, 2015

it takes few days to update ECAS.

If they send AOR through email, will they do the same for test invite too through email without fail? Or they can send one by post and one by email? Any one had this experience?

Only by regular Canada post mail.

We have similar timeline except you've already received your test date, & Mine might take another year just because of being a resident of Calgary

Apologies for the confusion. I haven't received my test invite yet. I just got my AOR yesterday. It's gonna get there when it's gonna get there I guess

My application was delivered on Sep 30 and I am now waiting for AOR or any other response.

My Ecas was updated today.

I see the Received line. When I click on it, I see the following:

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on September 29, 2014.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on January 5, 2015. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

The wait begins...
