I did my landing yesterday at Saint Stephen crossing in NB. It all took about 2.5 hours at US border as we had to return our US green cards. On Canadian border it took less than 15 minutes and the officer only asked for our passports and COPR papers. He said he doesn't need our work permits or whatever else we had with us...

How long does it takes to get passport back from CIC Ottawa? I had sent on Dec 1st ?

As per email
If you have a mailing address in Canada:
- The pre-paid Xpresspost envelope must be from Canada Post. Please note that we will not return documents to a Canadian address via any other courier.
- Submit all documents by mail in a single package and send to the following address:
CPC – Ottawa – PR
PO Box 9780
Ottawa ON K1G 4B9

DO NOT FILL OUT THE ADDRESS SECTION ON YOUR CANADA POST RETURN ENVELOPE.


· If you have a mailing address in the U.S.A.:
- The Self-Addressed pre-paid envelope should be arranged with a courier that delivers between Canada and the U.S.A.
- Submit all documents by mail in a single package and send to the following address:

Got my ready for visa email this morning whoop whoop!
Only 2 years and 3 months to get to this point.
Can't say I am not relieved.

Got the passport scans, photos and Annex A and return envelope sent off pronto.
Hope this next part don't take too long.

Congrats to all others who have been receiving their paperwork recently.
We're just about there.

I supplied 2 photos along with passport scans to get my COPR letter.
Are these photos used for PR card or do I need to supply a further 2 photos at time of landing?
If I need to supply more photos, what are the 2 I just sent needed for?

Hi Guys, I need your advise.
I am Sep-2014 Applicant. I got ready for Visa email today. Since I applied from India, all the details related to passport sending are based on India.
I moved to Finland - Helsinki in June 2016 and accordingly got my address updated with CIC as well.
I have 2 questions ....

1. Should I reply to same email and tell them that I am in Helsinki and Please change the passport office accordingly.
2. I applied with my spouse. There is no email related to her application. Should I wait or mention about her in the email.

Yes , I did receive 2 emails , one for me and one for my spouse residing back home. But there is no name in the email, just instructions.

Anyone with landing experience at ST-BERNARD-DE-LACOLLE: HIGHWAY 15, Quebec ??

Does the same procedure as followed in Rainbow Bridge, Niagara is applicable ?

Like, proceed to US immigration, receive the rejection slip and then come back to Canada for landing......
