Hello folks, I got a little question about COPR and PPR. Are they same? Seems like COPR is for the applicants from Visa Exempt Country. PPR is for applicants from non Visa Exempt Country. Am I right? Lol

your correct to a certain extent, the PPR is to issue your 1 time entry PR visa, hence visa exempted countries don't get PPR. Both visa exempt and visa required applicants get the COPR.

Hello Guys

I just received the request from CIC about RCMP Criminal Record check.

I am not sure if how i should proceed from here as i am in India currently.

CIC Said ::
-------------------------
Please follow the RCMP’s instructions to obtain a certified Criminal Record check.

You must send the fingerprints and a copy of this notice directly to the RCMP National Headquarters in Ottawa within 30 days from the date of this notice.
Do not submit fingerprints to our office that have not been processed by the RCMP as this will cause a delay in the processing of your application.
Please mail the RCMP Criminal Record Check directly to the address indicated below. Do not return the results to the RCMP.
--------------------------

Please provide any information on this.. Help Needed.

Thanks

Ajay

I think you'll need to get your prints done in India and mail them to the rcmp in Ottawa. The RCMP will send you back a letter, mail that letter or scan and send to CIC. I suggest you find a place that does live scan prints instead of ink(less chance of the prints being rejected).

any idea why the SEP 2014 tracking list was removed and any way to recovery that ?

I believe still 50% (or even more) had not landed from the SEP 2014 batch

please suggest ?

Hello

Thanks a lot for the reply and the info.

I did the paper fingerprinting and sent to Canadian accredited company for doing the digitization of the fingerprints.

They will send those digitized prints to RCMp to get the check done.

Hope the result comes soon..

Best of luck. :)

ECAS doesn't show RPRF. Only Medicals receive and additional documents received.

I thiNk most people here had already paid the RPRF. All of us are waiting for the PPR or COPR. I did the research for how long do people received PPR after they were asked for the RPRF, it's could be 4 months. It's the longest time I saw on the website.
