Applied for GCMS 29 days ago so expecting them through in next day or so.
Hopefully nothing too troubling in the notes?

Done landing!

Very easy process. I had US Visa but border officer at US side told me I don't need to enter, she didn't even ring my passport in.
Just took details for name and DOB.

Canadian side was easy. Just asked me for any crime et al and had to sign on a couple places, and then bang!

I got my PR!!

Hello guys, my application was received September 30th but on my Gcms note it says October 7th when do I start counting cos I'm not sure if it's up to 19month yet but if I count from September 30th that shows up on my ECAS then it's 19month for sure..

well at this point both dates are past 19 months. Btw how did things go with the NOC code issue you had. Were you able to clarify things with CIC?

You can not initiate extension of your closed work permit, your employer can do that. You must apply for BWOP ASAP . You are really late in the game


Here is sample explanation letter , write one for each applicant.

My work permit is expiring on 30th may and i m yet to get the PPR

Can anyone tell me the process for extending the CLOSE work permit??Do we have to apply for BOWP through GCkey or some other process?

Also list of documents too?

and if someone has explanation letter also...I will be very thankful if you can send me the same

Just received GCMS notes. Eligibility and criminality is passed.
Medical is Passed - Expired.

I have done UPFRONT medicals for my wife on 11-Apr-2015 when i applied TRV for her in India. used the same for PR.
I have done my Upfront medicals on 17-Nov-2015.

Looks like my wife's medicals are expired, as it has been more than one year.
Will they send new medical request for my wife?
My wife is 24 weeks pregnant now, how should we go about X-ray test, if they ask for new medical tests?
Please advise

Also in GCMS at the end in Notes.
It has note saying RPRF send in batch on 04-March-2016.
But I never received the RPRF mail on that date.
I went ahead and paid RPRF on 17-Apr-2106.
could this have affected my Processing ? as I paid RPRF after 30 days from what they thought they have send a mail which i didn't received.

I can see the updated RPRF fees on GCMS notes.

My email address was correctly updated.

Also had i received RPRF mail on 04-march, i would have paid it immediately any may be i might have got my PPR before my wife's medicals expired.

Lot of thoughts on what went wrong after seeing GCMS notes today.
But still keeping the hope up and smiling .

guys what to do if canada post lost your letter. Called cic and they said it was delivered on the 22nd but I didn't get it. cic couldn't tell me what address they send it out too. CiC said i have to call canada post and find it. :-[ :-[
