I called CIC today. Call centre representative was helpful. She checked my file and said you should hear anything starting from now to 25th August. That's almost 2 full years. This is such a frustrating process.

one basic question. do we get decision made on ECAS before PPR or after PPR?

Based on what I've read on here, it varies, some before, some after.

It depends on the applications. I got COPR before DM.

It can be anything from a couple of days to a few weeks. I got my COPR about three weeks after DM.

I applied for my GCMS notes on April 20th and received it today. WOW that was quick!! At the time that I applied I didn't receive any update or request from CIC and my notes showed that they had major concerns about my eligibility under the NOC code that I applied under. I received RPRF request on April 26th stating that I've been found eligible under the category which my document had been submitted (this happened after I applied for my notes, so my notes doesn't reflect my current eligibility at the moment).
The notes shows that I have no reportable trace of criminal activity in the countries I lived in. I hope this means that they won't request PCC again. Also, it says my due date is MAY 7th. What does that mean?

What is the location of the due date. Mine is May 8th, and it says/applies to my file being at "RFV Check", which a call centre agent has confirmed to me is the final approval stage.

Is says Location: CEC OFF REV. What does that mean? I gather that part of it means CEC OFFICE, but what is REV?

I believe it is the review that led to you getting RRPF. My due date said that prior to the officer reviewed it and set everything to passed, now my due date is RFV Check

Does your ecas say Decision made or in progress?

I applied for my GCMS notes today. Requested for email delivery of notes. There was no screen to pay anything. Do i have to pay with CC? Last time i had heard from some friends they said they had to pay some nominal fee.
