My ECAS updated with 'DM results received' 3 months after submitting the medicals.

Looks like my prediction of more waiting is wrong. At lunch hour today i received Ready for Visa (PPR) email. It's a relief, considering for something I wanted for so long, and at a tiny moment it is done. However I am not pleased at all for all the delays; I expected my PR a very long time ago. After all, this is my 12nd year in Canada and 3rd year since I first started to prepare for applying PR.

Outlining again my application details for those who'd like to see:
Old CEC received by CIC: 2014-09-24
AOR: 2015-02-04
RCMP request: 2015-03-31
(Upfront Medical, didn't email CIC until MR)
(Upfront RPRF)
MR: 2016-03-06
ECAS medical received: 2016-03-14
PPR: 2016-04-06
DM: no DM on ECAS yet

Summary:

- My ECAS only have 3 lines till date: package received, AOR and medical received.
- After medical check, CIC didn't ask for additional docs such as 2nd PCC, RCMP, T4/NOA. I didn't travel outside of Canada or USA since the date of application filed.
- My representative made numerous mistakes on my files including wrong client ID and gaps in personal history, but it looked like VO had let them go and didn't delay my case further.
- Processing time had passed 18 months, but till now it's less than 19 months.

My colleague commented it takes 2 weeks. You will have 2 tracking numbers, one is for the envelope delivering passports to CIC, the other is self-addressed envelope. Check these 2 tracking numbers accordingly.

Hi All

Finally after such a long wait.. I received Ready for Visa email. I am from a visa free country, but my wife is from a country that needs visa. I have already mailed her passport to CIC, but do I need to wait for anything else for myself to complete the landing process?

Thanks man. I just want to know if there is any consistency in processing time because someone got their passport back less than 10 days.

It should be exactly 14 days including weekends but your one time immigrant re-entry visa would be issued within a week after CIC received your PP.

Good luck and mark your calendar!
