hi,

My wife and i have US visitor visa so it is a good idea to visit US for couple of days and come back or just take pink slip( rejection letter) from US authorities for landing because i don't want to bring any thing in my record that i have been refused entry to US.

small advice for to-be landed ppl...

Do take a detailed list of the things/goods that may follow you from your home country. They need details of the stuff i.e make/model/ pic etc if you want to declare it.

Thanks Buddy. Will do that. I just thinking whether to extend my workpermit before sending the passport. Because if I cross the border and re-enter canada I can extend my workpermit at the border. And then send my passport to CIC. Because for landing I need a valid permit to cross the border and re-enter canada rite ? Thanks

For Landing..your COPR+Visa stamp will be valid documents for entry in Canada, you don't need a work permit for landing.

Hi All, Got COPR letter(s) and stamped passport(s) for myself, my wife and son. Thanks a lot!
I have few questions, if someone can help please:
1. My COPR has a city of destination mentioned, do I need to land in the mentioned city airport only or can I land at any airport in Canada?
2. For landing is it mandatory to have a valid Canadian employment/Canadian employment letter?
3. My COPR letter has both my wife and son mentioned as dependent. But My wife and Son's COPR letters have only my name mentioned as dependent e.g. Should n't my wife's letter also need to have my son mentioned as dependent?
4. COPR letter has mentioned application category as CE-1. what this code means?

2. For landing is it mandatory to have a valid Canadian employment/Canadian employment letter? Absolutely not
3. My COPR letter has both my wife and son mentioned as dependent. But My wife and Son's COPR letters have only my name mentioned as dependent e.g. Should n't my wife's letter also need to have my son mentioned as dependent? You are the primary applicant. Your wife and son are your dependents
4. COPR letter has mentioned application category as CE-1. what this code means? These are CAIPS Codes. CE1: CEC Temporary Foreign Worker, CE2: CEC Foreign Student. Since you were a Temporary Foreign Worker, when you applied for PR under CEC your code is CE1. Hope this helps.

I think you need valid job offer letter or proof of fund while entering in canada. They generally dont ask but I know few of my friends whim they asked to provide proof of fund ( offer letter & pay slips)

Submitted medicals on March 05. And paid Upfront RPRF also ,still dint get any updates on PPR .Is it good to send T4 & NOA from CRA .I dont have hard copy with me ,so i have planned to get copy from CRA online . Please advise if its okay to send this doc even before they ask us for it.
