I've had a mysterious extra line added to my ECAS...

1. We received your application for permanent residence on September 15, 2014.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on January 29, 2015.
3. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on January 30, 2015.
4. We started processing your application on January 30, 2015.
5. Medical results have been received.

It's strange because I already had a line for my AOR... Also the original date they listed (Jan 29) is the correct one for when they sent me AOR. Anyway, no idea what it means, just another mysterious thing in this whole process!

Assuming it was updated with this line today, it might be an indication that you'll get DM this coming weekend, hopefully.

We had the same line appeared on Monday, March 15, and the next day we've got "ready for visa" e-mail, so your has to be on the way for sure!

Hello All,

Finally I did my PR landing at Rainbow bridge yesterday and it was very straight forward and simple but had to wait 2 hrs (nothing compared with 18 months :) ) to meet officer. Probably I am the first person who did PR landing from our September thread. I am so happy for all our old applicants are going to end PR process journey and all the best everyone. I hope you all will be landed very soon :)

About me, Initially I have no idea on how to apply for PR and was struggling on how to present the gap which I had in between my education and work. I have contacted immigration consultants but all ended with big quotes with minimum of 2000$. Then got all answers for my questions after I have registered on this forum and then decided to go on my own.

So many applicants were shared valuable information and helped me a lot on forum. Thanks each and everyone. Especially I have to thank heart fully 3 persons - Jes_ON, Srihari Ram and Zareef. Without these people I would not have submitted my application on time before cap is reached.

I still remember I did send personal messages continuously with my questions (now I feel some were stupid questions) to Jes_ON for 10 days. But jes_ON has replied with proper answers and guided me a lot. Thank you Jes_ON for your prompt help :)

Srihari Ram helped me a lot filling the application and very supportive. Thank you Srihari Ram :)

My anna (bro) Zareef and myself, we both did application almost same time. We had couple of Skype sessions to fill application and very supportive :). Thank you Zareef :)

Congrats Kiran apu (sis), very happy for you!! ;D Lucky you, indeed the first September applicant from the forum to have completed the landing process.

Yup I do remember the conversations we had while filling out the application forms - again thanks a lot for your helpful suggestions. =)
I'm glad things worked out well for you and the gap didn't become an issue.

Wishing you all the very best, and have a wonderful life in Canada! :) :)

Hi guys, just found this forum last week and I wish I could find earlier so won't be alone in waiting for PR ::) so here is the timeline:

AOR: January 20,2015
RPRF: January 18,2016 (error e-mail,upfront)
PCC request: February 10,2016 ( didn't provide when applied)
Medical request: February 11,2016
Medical done: February 18, 2016 ( ecas was upgraded in a week that results are received)
Schedule A request: March 5, 2016
March 14,2016 we had this line appeared on our ecas: We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on January 20, 2015. ( we didn't have it before)

I hope you and Zareef are right! I would love to get to the end of this process. Congrats on getting your PPR :)

Called CIC again just in hope of getting a good agent who could look into my file without dishing out standard answers.

Turned out to be lucky day. The agent named Robert was kind enough to look into my file and informed that looks like my file has been updated as complete and I just need to wait to hear the next step from CIC. As per him the wait can be few days, weeks or months :o

Wait is coming to an end..

Congrats to all who got PPR and more patience for people like me who are waiting.

Cheers,
