Only Notes can tell exact picture..

I was telling my story..My wild guess is if junior VO is satisfied with your supporting dcuments you are getting quick MR ..rest have to wait for some senior VO.

Hello guys, my work permit expires end of June and I'm planning on applying for a BOWP end of February does any one have the format for the letter of explanation to attach with my application for the BOWP? Kindly help

Thanks
You will be better off if you apply your BOWP at the last minute so that you can take advantage of the implied status as you never know if your eligibility in GCMS notes will be set to pass before they review yout BOWP.

As far I know, Old CEC aplicattions eligibility is passed when AOR is received, so no need to wait.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/permit/extend/permanent.asp

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/temp/work/prov/bridging.asp

This old document explains how CEC applicants get Eligibility passes with AOR:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/bulletins/2013/ob485A.asp
Determining if a Positive Eligibility Decision has been made

For the purposes of determining if a positive eligibility assessment has been made, the processor will review if the Eligibility Assessment value is set to “Passed” in Global Case Management System (GCMS). If this decision has not been entered yet, for the purposes of this Operational Bulletin, a “positive eligibility assessment” will also be considered made when it is confirmed in GCMS that:

FSWP: the “Ministerial Instructions” status has been set to “Met” or a positive Final Determination of Eligibility letter/ e-mail has been sent. PNP: the “Eligibility EC-QC/PNP” status has been set to “Passed” or the Acknowledgment of Receipt letter/e-mail has been sent by the Centralized Intake Office (CIO).CEC: the “Eligibility CEC” decision has been set to “Passed” or the Acknowledgement of Receipt letter/e-mail has been sent from CIO.

In fact, as less time under Implied Status is better if you want to change employ or travel abroad, or even keep Provincial Health in some cases.

Paper applications are faster nowadays, but better check CIC processing times.

Yes I think so too , now all Sep 15 possible in second review . hope they review fast , I do a search about how to write letter to local MP , can't find a good one,

anyone have example. so I just need change MP name and personal details ?

I just had a call with CIC call center Agent, a very helpful one, she mentioned that if eligibility in GCMS notes was not set to pass, BOWP will be refused!!!

Pls don't start it again...We have already discussed the same last month & wasted lots of valuable time..

Kindly search threads for BOWP & read it again... relying on CIC call center is injurious to mental health..

for BOWP ..there is separate thread..

+1

I don't think all the 2nd week applications are under second review. I got my BOWP approved 3 weeks ago, I think they won't approve BOWP unless your eligibility is set to pass. I am Sept 9 2014 applicant.

As per the August application trend how much time CIC is taking for second review applications does any body have idea ?

I remember some one told me if you got AOR kinda means you're passed tye eligibility. Is it truth?? However, there's only tiny amount people got refused after they got AOR. ;D

Hi Guys,

My application details:

Date: 15th August, 2014
AOR: 5th Dec
MR: Jan 14th
Medicals Done: 22nd Jan
Medicals received: 9th Feb

I had a question regarding paying upfront RPRF. After talking to few friends of mine yesterday I decided to pay the RPRF upfront. But I somehow paid the fee (for both myself and my wife) in the wrong area. I paid it in the application fee section. I paid 550 for my spouse and 490 for myself. That was because I read one of the posts from few months back which had the wrong options mentioned. Later I realized after reading few posts from today and yesterday that I paid it differently. I sent the receipt to the respective CIC email as well.

Can anyone tell me how to handle this situation? Anyone else has gone through a similar mistake and can guide me?

Thanks for your help guys. Sad

Best,
Hanul
