September 2014 - CEC Applications

Guys,

I called three times in last 2 days to CIC . The first two guys were not ready to tell anything since it didn't pass normal processing time & finally the last call center guy was good.

He told me someone checked my file on 25th Jan 2016 & put a note someone has to review the file..that's all nothing else.

It means mine is in second review, I have requested for GCMS notes but that would be taking 1 month time. Any suggestion to proceed further.

My timeline is in left side..I am Sep 15 applicant & was curious since so many Sep 15 guys received MR request in last couple of weeks....feeling tense...

I called too , and ask him double confirm if have any notes, he said nothing, still background check ongoing. and the time frame he gave me is Aug . 1 2016 , before that they can do nothing. I totally don't understand why it is Aug. 1 2016 why ?????

mine is 3 Sep 2014 and i am still waiting for MR.

friendly reminder. Could you all please update your forum profile information at least Application Received Date so that we will know who is receiving MRs.

I am expecting some MRs today for Sep applicants

As soon as call center guys pick the phone, don't give your details...Start like this..

My colleagues applied on same day & they got MR request one week back.What about my application..Can you please check my application.

This work for me in my 3rd attempt...First 2 guys didn't bother to ask my application no even..

It all depends on your luck ..Best of Luck..

Sure. Click on your id here then you will see Summary Profile page.

There left side you can see Modify Profile section under it 'Forum Profile Information'. Click on it to update and save.

I called CIC just now and he said he cannot say anything about my file until the 17 month of processing times has been passed as they received my file on 17th Sep 2014 i have to wait till Feb 17 2016 to know the status. he didn't ask even my file number.

I also spoke to him , ,,i said dont see any real problem , when i asked for security and criminal check he said he can't tell anything about. In fact told me to do upfront medical.

And now not sure Should i listen to him and go for upfront ????what would you advise guys ?

I think you can make a appointment which would be two-three weeks later, in that way , you get waiting cycle too .


if MR arrived, nothing hurt,

if not , it won't be so bad , right ?

Medicals are valid for one year, at this point we can expect Medicals don't expire before decision made, so go ahead

Mine is 3rd Sep 2014 as well. No update since AOR

Hi under Modify Profile section I have account settings profile and not 'Forum Profile Information' so don't have the option to enter the details
