Can you please let us know ehat is the subject line or from address for that mail?

it says Request for payment of RPRF on subject from CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca
it gives you instruction how to pay and an email address to send the receipt within 30 days.

it doesnt connect due to high volume

i really hope this is just a mass update ( mixed with mistakes by sending to already paid applicant) , not a error

did u try calling just once ?

try twice or thrice, it usually gives u a wait time in second try.

its an error for those who completed landing or paid already but not for those who havent.. so they can go ahead and pay it. everyone didnt get the email

I think it is too soon to get excited. If you check the other topics in CEC forum, you will find that many many people, really a bunch of people, received the exact same email of RPRF payment request from CIC this morning at around 11am. I myself previously -last year- received an rejection email from them, but received the payment request email this morning..very confusing.

well in my case, I had asked for GCMS last month and I saw they have mentioned that RPRF is outstanding so I had to pay it any how... & yes you are right I should have call CIC before paying it but after waiting for this long and seeing some positive response I couldn't stop my self to act as quickly as I can... As well they have said security/medical is still ongoing... & at bottom of the email they have mentioned in case your application gets refused they will refund the fees..

i think everyone got so used to immigrations's slow pace and finding this a surprise
but it's our due month and it's supposed to be like this, no? lool

Yes, but in my case, CIC already sent me its rejection letter last year, saying that I didnt satisfy the CEC requirements, thus not eligible. But then, this morning they said they now found my application eligible and requested RPRF. So, I think there is some mixed up on their end..
