September 2014 - CEC Applications

As per CIC website

Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) calculates processing times from the day CIC receives an application to the day it makes a decision on the application.

since now processing time is 14 months hopefully we should hear from CIC soon, already 12 months are over & they have only 2 months left to complete rest of the process....

I have also received the second line when I checked my status today.

Permanent Residence
1. We received your application for permanent residence on September 22, 2014.
2. We started processing your application on February 20, 2015.

is this for Permanent residency applications or simply visa/work permits?

I have received this today. There was no communication or what so ever. What does that means?

We received your application for permanent residence on September 15, 2014.
We started processing your application on February 17, 2015.
We withdrew your application on August 26, 2015 and your file has been closed.

Have you applied through EE or some other schemes?, might be got approved through other schemes

As per my understanding, we can withdraw our application not CICI, they can only approve or reject, best option is to call CIC.

as per ECAS status:

WITHDRAWN meaning:
(An application can only be withdrawn when your application is IN PROCESS.)

Application Withdrawn
You may only withdraw your application before the In-Canada Application for Permanent Resident Status decision has been made. There are no refunds after processing has started.

I do have a EE processing at the same time. But there is no decision made on that application yet.

What is the phone number that I could contact them? Im calling the 1-888-242‑2100 now.... fingers crossed

Decision Made is not there is ok. But did your application picked up by EE already

It proves that why they withdraw your CEC application. Dont worry you will get it through EE.

I thought all along we could have both applications.... stupid of me :-X

Now Im not sure if it was a right move to do the EE

This waiting with uncertainty is definitely not helpful.

Dont worry dude. They withdraw your CEC it proves that your EE application is processing well.

Check in EE thread, u would be getting other guys too, there are so many guys who applied in both the streams.

I received an invitation through EE (I am an october applicant). Is it possible to have 2 application for CEC happening at the same time??
