September 2014 - CEC Applications

My application was received on September 11.

It says "We started processing .............. on Feb 17 2015."

I guess nothing to get excited about.

If you guys look at your GCMS notes, you will notice that this is the date CPC-Ottawa received the application - which apparently did not happen the day we received the AOR email.

My ECAS also updated with 2nd line. Today I got parking ticket but after getting 2nd line feeling awesome , seems they started working on our applications,

1. We received your application for permanent residence on September 15, 2014.
2. We started processing your application on February 17, 2015.

patience is the key while dealing with CIC, hopefully all Sep guys would be getting MR soon.

Just to add, this date (2nd line) is different from mine AOR date. I got AOR on 30th Jan 2015 & they started processing on Feb 17,2015.

I am checking my latest GCMS note as Zareef said this date is when file moved from NS to Ottawa although not getting in GCMS note..

There is no entry in GCMS dated Feb 17,2015.....Whatever it means ..atleast some update after such a long time...

Are there any data points, as to how many months/days it took in prior years from the "second line" entry to the point of getting MR. Looks like, it is kind of software update that created the second line. Aug-Oct/2014 applicants had their second line updated around the same time, which is humanly impossible, unless it is a software update which caused the "second line" show up.
