September 2014 - CEC Applications

Hi,

I am September Applicant.

I have ordered GCMS notes and got my notes yesterday.
I do see an error with my email_ID.

Can anyone suggest how to get EMAIL_ID corrected.

I got some minor news.

July 20th: I did upfront medical
August 18th: They notified me via email that they received the medical results
August 20th: my ecas status shows the following two lines (it was showing only the first line the day before)
1. We received your application for permanent residence on September 8, 2014.
2. We started processing your application on January 21, 2015.

Alot of us got the same good news but no response since then... it is the same date as ur AOR.. previously it used to the date they actually started working on ur file lol

I am a Sep 2nd applicant, ordered the gcms notes on July 22 and have received it today. Security shows not started with due date of 12 months from AOR. Criminality shows in process which dues 13 months from AOR. I found that there are several minor inaccurate info appears on the notes (such as the dates of my past employments, living addresses over a few years, etc). Also it seems that CIC is checking with the US immigration for security and biographic info which surprised me, as I have only been to the States once in 2010 for traveling. CIC is really doing their jobs on checking and verifying info I feel, which could probably explain the extremely slow speed right now.

As far I know about the biographic information, Canada went into an agreement with USA last year to share this information. Regarding the other point you mentioned about background / security verification, how come this one differs from person to person. All July applicants landed as permanent immigrants three month ago while we, June applicants are still waiting like a stupid assuming that our background verification is yet to complete.

Don't trust CIC, anything could happen for no reason.

Just got another GCMS note after a gap of three months & nothing changed except RCMP fingerprint received.

No-one touched my file......

Hello Everyone,

Got my second line today as well.
1. We received your application for permanent residence on September 25, 2014.
2. We started processing your application on February 20, 2015.

I also applied for GCMs notes yesterday. Hopefully by the time I receive it, there's something useful on it.

Is there anyway that I can inform CIC to change my primary contact email address? I used a representative when i apply, so CIC only send email to my lawyer. I want to update to my personal email instead.

got my LINE 2 as well.. but now im thinking .. if I always had line 2 after i received my AOR? or did the Line 2 just pop up now
