Yes he is, but he's not in the SS because he's a Quebecois outcast. =P

On a more serious note, mtymexmontreal is a PEQ applicant, not CEC applicant. It's different. Our MRs are not coming anytime soon!

Got it Zareef.. makes more sense !

Dude.. Montreal..
it very hard to believe u got ur MR .. r u sure ur a september applicant and not a June 2014 guy.
Its almost impossible ... but ..

If you look at his history, he is in Quebec & isn't a CEC applicant but a Quebec provincial nominee applicant. It is very possible that processing times are a lot quicker., especially when alot less people are applying to that. I don't think anyone of us needs to lie about our experiences.

Hi everyone,

Don't know many of you noticed this..,
The average CEC processing time on CIC website has been reduced by 1 month, ie., from 13 months to 12 months now. :) ;D

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-ec.asp

********based on The processing times for the Canadian Experience Class and Live-in Caregiver Class are based on how long it took to process 80 percent of all cases between January 1, 2014 to December 31, 2014. Processing times are subject to change.************

Cheers,
Varun

The AOR letter says:
Please inform the Centralized Intake Office by e-mail at CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca of any status changes in your application (birth or adoption of a child, marriage or common-law relationship, new occupation or employer, change of address, change of e-mail address, change of immigration representative, etc).

But when I try to send them an email reg my marital status change, the mail bounces back. Please let me know what's the address I should be sending it to. Thanks!

Hi Friends,

Can someone comment on the below link. It says that bridge permits are usually provided for 2 months. IS that true ? And it says that people who are less that 4 years of stay in canada can apply for Bridge permit..
I'm already here in canada for almost 5 years. Please advise.

http://www.wcdwa.ca/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/Fact-Sheets_Bridge-Extension-and-Restoration-of-Status.pdf

That is not the bridging open work permit, it looks like it's something else called a 'Bridge extension'.

You want this link - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/temp/work/prov/bridging.asp

Hey folks,
My nickname is ojei. I have a question. My PGWP is going to expired on this coming August, and I'm planning to go back to China for couple months based on personal issues, can I apply the BOWP online outside Canada? The website indicated that the applicant must be in Canada, so that means I can't apply it??? Can I apply it now due to I still in Canada?? Thanks!!
