Folks,
My CC is still not charged though app received on 2nd Sep'14. What do you suggest- shall I write to CIC with my all details including my old Work-permit UCI#? Or shall i wait for some more time?

I would send them an email right away with all your details, as it doesn't seem right to me.

Hi Maria_786,

Just visit their CEC main page and it's under the section "after you apply". The only way to contact CIO before you have the AOR is to send them an email, which I did a couple weeks ago, and got an auto reply right after I sent saying they will reply my request in 30 business days. I believe that is the only way to contact them.

do you check the type B number , it decrease !

Graphic designers and illustrators 69 which is about 111 yesterday

it has been only 4 days since last update so I think they just lost themselves in counting and they started over. Now we have a correct, updated numbers.
As I know they don't reduce the number. If the application was accepted at first and than it is rejected it still counts to the overall cap.

I am also on the same boat. My BOWP got rejected because my AOR is not yet generated and not even my CC is charged yet. When did u applied?

I applied via paper on Oct 24th? ish and it reached their office on Oct 27/28. So I figured I bought myself enough time since the turnaround time was 60 days and I anticipated I would have received an AOR by now.... so I am worried about the rejection right now because this is my only chance of getting an extension. My work permit has already expired sigh.

No... but if it gets rejected now there isn't a way I can work and get a work permit anymore because my work permit is expired. In a way it isn't really fair because it's not our fault that they are taking long to issue AOR... and I figured I gave myself enough time too...
I guess I can only blame myself for leaving it last minute... I'm frustrated lol

Hey you can't work that's ok but can you stay in Canada? if yes yes then how?
worst is with me my file delivered on October 3rd and returned unprocessed after 45 days for small reason. Now again delivered on 19th Nov but who is responsible for those 45 days.
I am also on implied status and worried what if BOWP rejected without AOR(High possibility looking at AOR timelines). How we are responsible when they are slow.
Can you guys believe that in people who applied in India under skilled worked got medical request in 5 month of application (after one month of AOR)
And CIC don't care about people already here and paying TAX.

Can someone guide me what options I have if BOWP rejected?
