Here are the details

CEC application received: Sept 09th 2014
CC charged: Nov 13th 2014
AOR received: Jan 20th 2015
ECAS : In process

I have a question... I received my BOWP but it has a specific occupation on it. The employer part is empty though. I no longer work in that role. Do I have to get a new WP or can I work anywhere? Isn't a BOWP supposed to be an open WP? Confused as to why they put a specific occupation on there.......

Hi Kiran, I have a quick question. How does CIC calculate the processing time for medical req ? will they calculate the days from the day of AOR received or from the day of the application reached CIC.

hey guys, do you think it will take longer if i change my current mailing address online? I don't know why but they put my immigration lawyer's office address on my profile instead of mine....

No, it does not take too long,,, approx a week or so..

i did update my address online and was updated within 2 weeks

In Trackitt site I saw 3 August applicants got RCMP request. Latest was August 23rd. some document request also on Jan 29th for August 20th Applicant. Fortunately there is no single RCMP request in this forum for August Applicants.

Hi, I was trying to add on my info to the spreadsheet but can't edit in at all. Do I need to be shared?

I applied my CEC in Sept 2014 and the file was received Sept 22nd. Upon until now I have not received any notice and my work permit is going to expire in June 26th. I won't be able to apply for extend the bridging permit without a AOR right? I was checking my junk mail just these days and the ones from a while ago was deleted automatically. I am in such panic and not knowing what to do since the call center can't help but told me to keep waiting...

Does anyone have any idea about where I can find out more information than seeing the "in progress" under my status?
Much much appreciate for any help!!!!!

Hi Buddy,

Check your status in ecas, if you would have received AOR & somehow missed it, your status would be reflecting in ecas.

Then that means that your file was accepted for processing and you should have gotten an AOR.

I suggest you send an email to CIC explaining your situation and ask them to resend the AOR email to you so you can apply for BOWP.

I would provide them with your full contact information again and do this as soon as possible because they can sometimes take long (3 to 4 weeks) to reply.
