Dear fellow applicants,

I applied as a Civil Engineer on 26 September 2014 from Pakistan. Currently, my ECAS status shows two lines;

1. We received your application .... 26 Sep 2014.
2. We started processing your application on 31 Dec 2014.

I came to Dubai on a 3 month visit visa on 6 Nov 2015. my question is; should I inform CIC about this? if so, what documents should i upload along with my notification as proof?

thanks :)

I have received the Visa and CoPR one and half months ago. After getting them in hand I had noticed that the COPR of my daughter has mistake. The Country of Birth is mentioned as Bangladesh instead of UAE. Later I have sent emails but didn't get any response till now.

Does anyone have same experience? Kindly share.

Land with this COPR. You can amend it once you are in Canada (takes 6 months).

Dear Friends, my file under the preliminary review since August,26,2015. On Jan,15 the immigration officer asked for the income tax letter and I provided him with the exemption letter . Can you please advise if it’s a good indicator for having the CSQ? I’m bit worries and really don’t know what’s going on. I called the immigration and they said your file in process and nothing more.

Please share me your thoughts.

All the best,
Jkan

Why don't you raise CSE and ask for status of your application.
Also order GCMS notes in order to know the detailed status of your application. Believe me it is very important and it will let you prepare for any type of response from Visa Office.

Yes inform them, although it is not necessary because usually in the final stages of your application they will be asking you to provide SCHEDULE-A updated form, in which all your visits till you applied will be mentioned. But you can use as an opportunity to know status of your application that what is the status of your application.

Thanks. Do I have to notify Visa office or CIC that I am travelling with it? Or I just go for Landing?

I have also many errors in CORP. Make print outs of your emails to Visa Office indicating errors in your CORP. U can show it at the port of entry as a proof of notifying Visa Office about errors. This is needed just in case u encounter "bad immigration officer"

any applicant who landed and made some rectifications of errors on the point-entry?

my COPR do have 2 errors, my birth date and where i was born...

any suggestions?

Please correct the errors by sending it back to your visa office before
making any travelling arrangement.
Good luck

Mr. not every Visa Office replies to the CSEs or emails with regards to errors in CPR. Once again as I mentioned those who have errors in their CPRs need to show at least email proof (your communication to Visa Office regarding errors in CPR) to immigration officer at the port of entry in case they ask you why mistakes were not corrected.

Please go and read the instruction attached to your COPR.
Thanks

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SMART ADVICE, I ALREADY DID IT! AS TOLD, NOT ALL VISA OFFICES REPLY TO CSEs and EMAILs with ERRORS EVEN THOUGH IT IS STRICTLY RECOMMENDED TO CONTACT VISA OFFICE IN CPR instruction, having copy of email to show as proof of communication to immigration officer might help avoid problems at the port of entry. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYBODY

I sent a CSE last september and still no reply. I will show it to them when we do our entry.
