1.We received your application for permanent residence on September 2, 2014.

2.We started processing your application on March 26, 2015.

3.Medical results have been received.on 7th may

4.A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.on 6th june


what does this mean?

does this means approved or rejected

Yes that's what it means you should be receiving an email with the next step instructions.
But your application has been approved or reject already.

And for my experience if you don't have any issue with the medical the resolutipn should be approved.

Well my experience was after the thirt line updated, two weeks later I received and email with the passport request, and then two weeks from there my ECaS was updated with the fourth line update.

But I think that the process may vary by VO procedeur.

I recomend to follow a VO forum theme so you can have an idea of the real the timeline and procedeur of that VO, that help me a lot to calm my nerves...

Dear Forum Members,

Need your suggestion urgently regarding my application.

Recently on June 02, 2015 I have got email from CIC saying I need to do paternity and maternity test. From the letter I realised I have mentioned my “Step sister” as my “Sister” mistakenly in my additional family information form. I have sent them a letter of explanation about the mistake and also said I am ready to do whatever test deems required by CIC. I have send them, her birth certification, her passport copy, my father’s second marriage certificate copy.
I am very sad, everything looks like falling apart  I do not know if CIC accepts explanation letter at this point. I am already done with medical tests.
Now I need suggestion what should I do? Should I do the paternity and maternity immediately (they asked me to do that to prove that my sister is my sister since we have age gap of 24 years and they are not convinced, however that was a mistake from my end) or wait for reply from CIC based on my clarification sent to them?

Your suggestion will be very helpful. Since I am doing my application by myself so ca not get any lawyer advise at this point.

If you receive an automatically generated pdf receipt after payment that means your payment was accepted. Then, when you send the RPRF receipt by email, you normally receive an auto response acknowledging the reception of your email ( that included your receipt). In respect of adding a line on Ecas, there is no line specifically for RPRF but for my case the visa office asked me to pay RPRF at the end of the process and I paid and sent them the receipt by email, then next the third line and DM were added together at the same time on ECAS. I do not know if this process dictates a positive sign but I am hoping to receive PPR soon ( hopefully and optimistically)

I checked cic page and checked the processing time for NDVO its 12th months

But my Passport is with them only

Well my forum friends.
Today I got my passport back with a one entry visa!!
I'm almost done the process..

I just had one question: In the original application I put that I was going to Oakville, ON, but after a long searching we decided to change to Calgary, AB. Do I have to do the landing in ontario and then go to Calgary? or can I land directly to Calgary?
If I have to land in Ontario how long do I have to wait to go to Calgary.

Congrats for visa buddy...you can land anywhere except Quebec province...irrespective of Port Of Entry indicated in the Application....
