Hoping to happen within the next 2 months.

received my PER last 5 February and according to forumites most probably april. all fingers crossed!!!

Why it is so late......?

Does anyone know which visa officer is asking for photo re-submission?

I think....not a particular office.....but most of the applicants whose files are in London now, got the Photo submission mail..
Same for me also....

Now, I have changed job after the filling of application.
Should I have to submit the updated documents ? Or wait till the next request from LVO ?

How is back-ground check process done ?
Will they call to every office or person for verification ? or only if they got any doubt ?
Because the person who signed my reference letter also left the company ?

Please anyone can suggest me???..

Congratulations my friend on the second line update.... I guess AOR usually comes in before the second line update. Your file must still be at NDVO. MR will follow soon...again it usually happens in a week or two but can take months...so pray to the Almighty and keep your fingers crossed.

Hey Nitin,

I suggest you to mail your updated documents to LVO.Background checks can happen anytime if they feel any ambiguity and they can call boardlines as well.

I have seen the below statement in the letter for PER.


(Please do not forward additional documents unless requested.



If additional documents are required, you will be provided an address to forward required documents. Please inform the visa office of any changes in your application (e.g. birth or adoption of a child, marriage or common-law relationship, new occupation or employer, submission of an Arranged Employment Opinion approved by Human Resources and Skills Development Canada, change of address, change of e-mail address, change of immigration representative, etc). Please include a letter identifying what the changes are and any relevant supporting documents. If your documents are not in English or French, send a notarized (certified) translation with a copy of the originals.

i am 26 sep 2014 applicant from Pakistan to London visa office, got cc charged 13 dec 2014, per mail on 9 januar 2015, and ecas "in process" showing "your application was received ..... 26 september 2014". i have not received email demanding resubmission of photos unlike most others who have applied to LVO. hope everything is fine :-[ :

May be not ? Not necessary....
Hope everything is fine for you.
The photo request due to misplaced photos (may be) by the LVO.

Keep checking....if it is there ?
