Me too, I got the acknowlegement letter today.Merry Christmas to you all

nothing for me yet....no AOR or book......received sept 3 and in process nov 12.

My son went to a play school in my home country before he came to Canada. When he came to Canada 3 yrs back in June 2011, he went to kindergarten for 1 month and then joint grade 1 in Canada.

When I applied for citizenship, I sent all his school record (from kindergarten to presently grade 3 in Canada), since he was only going to a play school in India, so I did not have school record for that and I did not send any.
I got a letter from cic asking me for his school record for 2011 , basically they are asking for his school record for 2011 before he came to Canada..... Since he was going to a play school ( that play school was run in a neighbourhood house and was not a proper school , they just tutored kids , but since that was not a registered school , so they could not issue any school leaving documents )
he does not have any record.

What should I do ? Please advice and help ASAP.

I think you may send a letter to CIC explaining the matter and again send the school records from Canada.

received the AOR and book....dated nov 11, 2013. took 1.5 months in postal mail transit? hmmm....what next? RQ or test date?

ok...should I jump for joy now? just called cic for an update on our file....the agent told me that file is with local office....security check is completed and waiting for exam schedule.....maybe wrong information? what do u think? so fast? just to let u guys know that I have 1 year cushion in my residency in Canada.

in your ecas the receive line disappear , because usually you have two line one receive and the other in process and if the receive line disappear that mean your file transferred to the local office or something else.
