Hello members,

I have sent my application for Citizenship via Canada Post using a tracking number...I also received a confirmation of delivery signed by a person named M CHACHEVDA...this is my second time sending the application...it was previously returned due to some school records were missing...Received on September 19... no updates yet...Does anyone has a confirmation of delivery signed by this person M CHACHEVDA?

Just wanna update and say I have received my AOR and Discover Canada Book today.
Now I just have to study and hope for a speedy test date !

I called CIC today...nothing new...agent advised to wait and see if I get the package returned ...and I said if the package was returned I should get it by now... right? She said...not necessarily...if the package was returned recently it can take up to 10 business days...application package delivered to Sydney on Sept 19, 2013...still awaiting response...oh man!

mailed 2 applications on same date (one for me and one for wife) separately. I didn't wanna file joint, so as one doesn't delay the other.

hey, i just called them again. apparently according to the agent that i spoke to, there was a technical glitch in the system, and now, as of today, they are working on the applications received on the 19th.

Not really. I wouldn't count on them. But you could use them as a ballpark.

No need to call them! It is obvious that there is a problem at CIC, they are either lying to us or not telling us the truth... ( an october applicant says that he could see his info on Ecas... ).

That's called sarcasm my friend...

What I think is happening is that there is a huge mess at CIC, that they might be trying to process applications chronologically but that some applications are getting lost, some agents are quicker than others, some applications are looked at 2 or 3 times before going in the flow of processing etc, so this might be the reason why they might only have a vague idea about what applications they are currently opening... What they have to do is to hire someone who will review all their processes in order to become more efficient. However, i must admit that they are doing better than in 2011 and 2012... Jason Kenney was a an administrative disaster, Chris Alexander seems to be slightly better ( i will hold to my "slightly" until i see what will happen to Citizenship Act). Someone once said to me that " a team is as strong as its weakest player", lets hope that their weakest player isn't that bad.
