Hi Sreenath,
Any further news on PPR?
waiting , checking mail every day , applied for GCMS to check what's happening to my application :( :( :(

Guys I was asked for finger printing and record check by CIC after my med, I got it done on Jan 22nd after that never heard anything from CIC.
Is there any way I can enquire whether they have received my RCMP record or not? i have written 2 emails to them already, should i try calling them?
please advise.

You will receive confirmation from RCMP – ‘Completed processing and dispatch to respective addresses. And if you status – DM, then CIC would have received RCMP-finger print certificate without trace of criminal record.

RCMP is the final stage in the criminal check. If your name matches in the database, CIC will request the PA to undergo RCMP – process of possible elimination. In my opinion you have passed the criminal check, hence your status moved to DM. To confirm get GCMS notes

So, you check your local Constituency Address - Call them - Book for an Appt - then check what happended to our application
Strange , I don't mind doing it , I will find out mine ( Hamilton) call them for an appt

I did it once when my processing was delayed. They were very helpful. Now I dont mind doing it again.

I called them , they have taken by details and contact me back .

Received call back, my application is approved and should receive PPR sometime next week.
Hope for best , thanks ghato for sharing the info

Hey Sreenath, did you call the local office line or the parliamentary phone line? I called both numbers and left a voicemail
