The processing time for MI3 has probably gone up (especially considering the strike), but if you assume everyone who went into processing recently will be done in the next 2 months then that will be 7/25 (28%) processed within 18 months and 6/25 (24%) processed within 16 months.

September 2012 is not recent, it's almost 14 months. Therefore my point that 80% in 14 months is not the right reflection for folks to start believing there's 80% chance they'll have PR in next 5 days. The processing just started for some of them and others in the group are still waiting.

I think there is some reason to be optimistic. FSW and CEC programs have been significantly tightened recently and this will help speed up processing times across the board. Especially for FSW CPP-O since most CEC applications are dealt with there.

Wow :D Happy for you! Praying very hard for mine one. I know its coming. Good luck to me and all.

Just received MR and RPRF 2013-11-26. Interview waived. So happy! ;D

We were very worried when the processing time changed to "25 months" but this appears to be incorrect as we have only been processing for 9 months so far.

Good luck everyone, I am sure you will be hearing good news very soon. :-)

Problem is, folks that are just browsing through these threads, they start believing stats that are of the past and end up taking decision that could impact them negatively. Any statement that significantly states a timeline change (reduction or increase) should have a disclaimer stating clearly that it's only based on past data. Effort should be made not to state exceptions as norm. That is just my belief and not everyone has to agree. If I come across any such information on any thread, I call it out.

Congrats ta2! I realize it's optimistic, but hoping your timeline is reflective of people that applied in 2013! I know there's still a number of 2012 people left, so we'll see if you're just an exception. Good news though!!

There is a forum for Temporary Entry Points (Foreign Workers). I'd suggest you to post your questions there and folks/seniors there would have better and more current information and answers. Hope you are able to figure this out quickly.

When you say December 2013, I assume you mean November? Or is that just your prediction? :-)

Hi finallyseehopes,

Congratulations on receiving your medical. Quick question for you... When you say "No interview required", was that stated in the email you received with the PR fee request?

When I received my medical request, it asked for the PR fee payment and medicals to be done within 60 days from the receipt of email. There was no mention of an interview anywhere.

the sentence from CIC: "We have now completed the initial assessment of your application, and expect to finalize your application without a personal interview. While an interview does not appear necessary at this time, we reserve the right to call you to an interview, should this become necessary at some future stage in processing."

If not mentioned then I think no interview required for you.
