Hi ta2,

That's really good.. what is your visa office and under which category did you apply?
Visa office is CPP-Ottawa and category is FSW2 (Arranged Employment).

Hoping your timeline so far is a good representation of what can be expected for 2013 FSW2 applications to Ottawa.

I am about a month and a half behind you (PER received April 9th, 2013). That would have me getting the processing line by the end of December, although I realize the Christmas period will likely delay it by maybe a few weeks or so. Hopefully then by the end of January!

Not sure what timelines could be expected from that line till medicals, etc.

Here's hoping! But I shall just try and wait patiently as I know some cases can be outliers!

Have you had any interaction with CIC since submitting the application and receiving PER? i.e. requesting GCMS notes, sending a case specific e-mail, etc. Just wondering if you've just waited patiently, or done anything.

Thanks,

Graham.

Hey guys, CPP Ottawa seems to be moving on the Sept 2012 batch... I just got my second line added to eCas...

"We started processing your application on Nov 21, 2013".

In terms of my timeline...

App Filed: 04 Sept 2012
Per Received: 05 Nov 2012
Category: FSW (Arranged Employment)
Office: CPP-O

Let's hope they're speedy from here on out.

Cheers and good luck to all.

Hello Guys,
My Ecas now shows medical received line & my passport reached NDVO on 21st Oct. When can i expect to get DM?
Thanks, Gaurav

I haven't had any interaction with CIC since receiving PER. Nothing sent, nothing received. Just happened to check my eCAS on Friday night and saw an update. There's now 4 of us CPP-O guys with the "We have started processing line":

19th Nov ta2
20th Nov Jessica07
20th Nov jibinseb
21st Nov nephewgobo

Fingers crossed that we will all get good news soon, as has this one very lucky one who has received Medical Request:

19th Nov vik81

Check the spreadsheet which a few people have in their signatures (I'm not allowed to post links yet).

Guys just a tip - plan ahead of your medical request. What I mean by that is, look up your local doctors (info available on CIC website) that are authorized to do medicals and start calling to schedule medicals or at least check on their next availability. I happen to be in GTA and I had tough time getting a medical appointment. These doctors are booked solid.. Good luck..

P.S. keep checking your spam folders just in case your medical request landed there.

Vik, which date did it say in your eCAS for "We have started processing your application". How many days between that and MR?

Thanks

I did it with dr. colin saldanha...i think he specializes in doing immigration medicals :) :) :)...He takes only 2 min to sign your medical check form & the day i visited him, he even sent pregnant lady for X-ray. (he is not supposed to do that >:( >:( >:()....i am sure if you give his clinic a call they will accommodate you within couple of days for sure...its just like routine business for them to make 200 bucks every 10 min.....although they are quick in uploading results....in my case CIC received my medical results within 2 weeks. My Ecas shows medical received line within 2.5 weeks. He has lots of gujju's in his staff!!!

Hi Gaurav,

I called his office and the next appointment available at his clinic is December 30th. I read his review. People had horrible experiences with him. I could care less as I only need a medical done but he isn't available till Dec 30th

Thanks very much for the reply. Hopefully this is a sign of things starting to move quickly!

I'll need to find the spreadsheet! I've seen one before that seemed to be used for FSW1 applications since May. Is yours in with that, or is it a different spreadsheet? Since you can't post links, is there anyone you can point me to who has the correct one in their signature, and I'll get it from there?
Sorry, is it the one in your signature?

Thanks again,

Graham.

I think, there must be many medical requests released by CIC since past few days. cos i saw in his clinic that people just dropped by to do their medicals without appointment. Anyways i heard that Dr. John from etobicoke is also good. Couple of frds went there for medicals.
